About The Artist:

Clarence Gagnon (1881-1942)

A graduate of art schools in Montreal and Paris, Clarence Gagnon is well known for his iconic depictions of rural and village scenes throughout Quebec. He influenced a generation of Quebec artists and advanced modernist art in Canada.
